Master of Malt teams up with Amazon Prime TV's The Three Drinkers for exclusive whisky launch

04 November 2019 The second season of Amazon Prime’s The Three Drinkers is due for release in early December – and Master of Malt is the exclusive retailer for the series’ first official whisky bottling.

Master of Malt has teamed up with Amazon Prime TV’s The Three Drinkers to exclusively retail the programme’s first Scotch whisky, and will also feature in part two of the second season, ‘The Three Drinkers do Scotch Whisky’, due to air in early December. 

The expression, called The Three Drinkers Scotch Whisky, Cask Selection No. 1, is a 17-year-old, natural colour, non-chill-filtered blended malt, with a flavour profile inspired by the different locations visited during the show. 

Aidy Smith, Helena Nicklin and Colin Hampden-White, collectively known as The Three Drinkers, co-host and co-produce the series, and have signed each of the 300 individually-numbered bottles. 

Tasting notes for Cask Selection No. 1 include sweet fudge, dried apricots, Christmas cake and a touch of smoky oak on the finish.

Cask Selection No.1 was created with support from Cask Trade, a new online whisky trading platform, and will retail for £39.99 at Master of Malt. It is available to pre-order now, and, stock permitting, normal sales will go live from 14 November.
