Master of Malt transforms checkout experience with new mobile payment options
Apple Pay and Google Pay

Multi-award-winning spirits, beer and wine eCommerce platform Master of Malt has added Apple Pay and Google Pay options to its checkout, making the shopping experience even better for drinks fans.

Master of Malt has revamped its checkout experience for mobile users with the addition of Apple Pay and Google Pay payment processing.

The new functionality dramatically improves the retail experience for smartphone users, with iOS customers able to complete payments via Apple Pay’s Wallet, and Android shoppers via their Google accounts. 

Both Apple Pay and Google Pay payment options require the customer to enter fewer details at checkout, reducing friction and improving the overall eCommerce experience.  

Mobile is an increasingly important channel for Master of Malt, and now accounts for around 65% of all traffic to the site. 

“We know that more and more of our customers browse Master of Malt and complete purchases on their smartphones, so we’re delighted to now offer Apple Pay and Google Pay options at the checkout,” said Paul Johnson, group head of engineering.

“We’re constantly working hard to shorten the distance to amazing drinks experiences, and the new payment options literally do just that. It’s now much quicker and easier to check out using a smartphone – less friction means better shopping for our customers.”
